The United Tier 1 Hockey League’s major focus this off season was to create divisions that would bring programs together from across North America in highly scouted showcases. Another step in this direction has been accomplished with the addition of the excellent program Mount Academy out of Prince Edward Island Canada.
Mount Academy is a recognized Hockey Canada Sport School with their organization dedicated to developing players for the collegiate level. They provide both Men’s and Women’s prep hockey teams that are provided four ice sessions per week and five off-ice sessions as part of the Mount High-Performance Fitness Program. With professional certified coaches leading the charge, these teams have dedicated training and practice schedules, and compete with other prep schools throughout the region and internationally.
This addition of Mount Academy now brings the UT1HL into 11 States and 3 Provinces across North America.
