The United Tier 1 Hockey League (UT1HL) is excited to announce the continued growth and expansion of its Split-Season Division for the 2026-27 season. Designed to provide flexibility, high-level competition, and meaningful player exposure, the Split-Season model has quickly become an attractive option for organizations throughout the Northeast.
The UT1HL Split-Season Division offers teams the opportunity to compete in a structured league environment without the commitment of a full-season schedule. Teams will participate in three fall showcase events, with each organization required to attend one regular-season showcase event along with the league’s Championship Playoff Weekend.
In addition to showcase competition, teams will have the ability to schedule league games outside of official events. These games will count toward league standings and player statistics, providing organizations with additional flexibility while ensuring every game carries significance throughout the season.
One of the major benefits of participating in the UT1HL is the league’s commitment to player exposure and recognition. All player and team statistics will be tracked and published on Elite Prospects, giving athletes increased visibility within the hockey community while creating a comprehensive record of their performance throughout the season.
The Split-Season Division also provides teams with the opportunity to compete for a league championship. Every participating organization will have the chance to qualify for and compete during Championship Weekend, where league champions will be crowned and players will have the opportunity to perform on one of the season’s biggest stages.
As the division continues to grow, the UT1HL is proud to welcome an outstanding group of organizations for the upcoming season:
